PAUL DEMONTIGNY
Founder and President
I have lived in Bamfield almost my entire life, and I have had the ocean and mountains' stories in my mind since I was a kid. Pursuing my curiosities led me to uncovering layers of history - in the form of clay that I know are unique, rare and highly sought after.
Now, with Bluestone Clay, I can share my story and our clay products with all of you.
STEVE DEMONTIGNY

Steve lived in Bamfield most of his life, growing up with his younger brother, Paul. Steve always said how Paul has drive and passion for Bamfield's history - and the mountains' and valleys' stories that come with it. As Paul's brother, Steve loved sharing that passion with him exploring the mountains and bringing forth Bluestone Clay's products for all of you to enjoy.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, I discovered blissful, beautiful Bamfield in 2017. This quaint village showed me what I was missing - connection to the land, coast and sea.
Even though I am working behind the scenes, I help Paul share his story, the rich history behind Bamfield and Bluestone Clay, as well as share Bluestone Clay's products with all of you!
